Produced from mature vineyards in the Pays D’Hérault region of Languedoc in Southern France. This diverse region is characterised by the moderating Marin, Mistral and Tramontane winds which help create a unique climate.
The Grenache and Carignan grapes are picked at optimum ripeness, with half of them undergoing a warm maceration to extract colour before a cool ferment to maximise fruit and perfume. The other half are fermented traditionally and this, more tannic, portion adds structure and weight to the final wine.
